It’s about smiles.

A smile with every task. That is what we preach and is how we work. Guide Chewing Gum helps with that smile by providing your teeth with fluoride, an element suggested to reduce tooth decay and prevent cavities.

Fluoride is introduced to us in a variety of methods. Fluoride is an active ingredient in most toothpastes and is also added to the drinking water provided by most cities.

So why is Guide Chewing Gum important? Guide Gum provides fluoride to your teeth when you might not have access to it otherwise. Guide Gum is there for you when you live outside of the city, are on a weekend camping trip, or are between meals and that toothbrush is difficult to find. Guide Chewing Gum is the solution for conveniently maintaining your oral health.

The Guide Chewing Gum Experience

Guide Chewing Gum is gum with a purpose. As soon as you bite into Guide Gum you will notice a unique decompression. This is the first sign that new and exciting things are happening in your mouth. As you begin to chew, fluoride instantly comes in contact with your teeth. Fluoride is known to prevent the loss of minerals in tooth enamel, therefore slowing tooth decay. Xylitol, a naturally occurring sugar substitute, is also adding benefit to your mouth by stimulating the flow of saliva and increasing the overall pH of the mouth. Wonderful things are now happening for your teeth.

As you continue to chew you will notice that the gum begins to re-constitute itself into a more familiar chewing experience. It is recommended to chew Guide Chewing Gum for a minimum of 5 minutes. This duration will allow ample time for the fluoride to transfer from the gum to your teeth and xylitol to inhibit the formation of plaque.

Guide Gum Ingredients

The combination of fluoride and Xylitol in a single product is truly special. Fluoride has long been recognized as a builder of strong teeth when used as recommended. The fact that all across the United States thousands of city governments have included it into their public water systems speaks volumes to its effectiveness. Fluoride is effective because it prevents the loss of minerals in tooth enamel, thereby preventing or reversing tooth decay.

An equally impressive ingredient is xylitol. Xylitol has the ability to change the chemistry in our mouth by neutralizing harmful acids. Restoring a proper pH in the mouth creates an environment that is inhospitable to destructive bacteria, like streptococcus mutants. Xylitol also increases the flow of saliva in our mouth. These important qualities of Xylitol reduce the formation of dental plaque and tooth decay.

Things to ponder before purchasing Guide Chewing Gum

Fluoride has been in use for decades to make teeth stronger. Because Guide Gum contains fluoride, it is necessary to study your current fluoride intake. Please ask yourself the following questions:

1. Does my toothpaste contain fluoride?
2. Does my city water contain fluoride?
3. Have I recently had a fluoride treatment from my dentist?

The recommended dose of Guide Gum is three pieces per day, however, this may change depending on how the above questions were answered. Most types of toothpaste contain fluoride. This will not change the recommended use of Guide Gum. However, if you drink several glasses of fluoridated water per day, then we recommend limiting intake of Guide Gum to 1 piece per day. Each piece of Guide Gum has approximately as much fluoride as 12 ounces of fluoridated city water. If you have recently undergone a professional fluoride treatment, Guide Gum should not be used unless otherwise directed by your Dentist.
